About Riddhi
Riddhi Vikamshi is a vocalist, composer, producer, and playback engineer hailing from Nagpur, India, now based in Boston, MA. Her work is characterized by innovative sonic experiences, flawlessly merging Hindustani classical music with contemporary genres. As a powerful figure in the music community, Riddhi is the founder of Baithak, a community music initiative, and India Music Fest, Central India’s first interactive music festival. Her latest single, Kaahe, showcases her genre-blending vision, masterfully uniting Hindustani vocals with vibrant Latin rhythms.
This January, she successfully completed the fully crowdfunded 5-show TAABIIR India Tour with her trio. She has graced stages at esteemed venues, including the Berklee Performance Center and Sofar Bombay, with a 5-track EP, TAABIIR, set for release later this year. Critically acclaimed by publications like Rolling Stone and Mid-Day Magazine, Riddhi is actively redefining the boundaries of global music. Mid-Day Magazine noted that the "Boston-based student from Berklee College of Music is bringing countries across the world together" (2024).
